Uddin & Elsey continue to experiment with diverse ways of working such as performance, video, sculpture and collage. Their process-led approach enables site-specific work to develop. They are interested in methods which allow for risk-taking and failure. Their collaborative art practice engages with group dynamics and social exchange.  They undertake research into political events and social histories and create opportunities which allow for dialogue and collaboration with others.

Leah Elsey & Sonia Uddin completed an MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art in 2004. They have exhibited both nationally and internationally; participated in international studio residencies including Berlin (2001 & 2005) and Sydney (2009). Most recently Uddin & Elsey completed a commission for Whitstable Biennale 2012.
