Uddin & Elsey maintain a collaborative practice and present work which plays with notions of group dynamics and social exchanges. Their art practice is concerned with experimentation using diverse ways of working, which can inspire a cross-disciplinary approach and lead to creative outcomes. They are research-based and process-led and their methods enable site-specific work to develop.

Uddin & Elsey aim to create opportunities which allow for further dialogue and collaboration to occur. Using visual language they articulate different methods of engagement and utilise media to comment on political tensions within society. They are interested in the creative process that allows for risk taking and failure.

Leah Elsey & Sonia Uddin completed an MA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art in 2004.
